The legend of the knight Baudegamus:

Knight of the Round Table in Arthurian legend. He was the king of Gorre, a mysterious country connected to the kingdom of Logres only by a bridge as pointed as a sword. Many residents of Logres are held prisoner there. He is recognized as an allied parent of Arthur, a wise and virtuous king, despite the actions of his son who later kidnapped Queen Guinevere.
